Rachel Cruze says comparing ourselves to others not only gets us in trouble with our finances, but it also impedes the happiness and joy we have in our present life. Theodore Roosevelt said, “Comparison is the thief of joy,” and it's amazing how comparing your life to others can steal your joy.  It can snatch away the happiness and joy you experience in the moment because you are concentrating on someone else’s life, not yours.
