Ingrid Pinto, Freddie's Friends

If you've got a little one in your life, then you'll want to stick around to listen to Ingrid Pinto the creator of Freddie's Friends. It is an adorable collection of stuffed animal toys that you can make yourself from quilting cottons. All the seams are left raw, and the animals are all sewed flat and then stuffed, so they're really simple to make.

Freddie's Friends all began when Ingrid's son asked her to draw him a dragon. She thought, well, why don't I just make a dragon from fabric. Well, she still hasn't made a dragon, but she has made a menagerie of animals from lion to butterfly.
